CHESS FOR SKILLZ
Chess for Skillz represents our ongoing collaboration with Skillz, following our initial project, Dark Chess Tournament. Responding to the positive reception of our first game, Skillz expressed interest in ordering a classic chess variant to their platform, and once again, they turned to Tall Troll Games for development.
Our team focused on adapting the traditional chess gameplay for the Skillz platform, ensuring that the game mechanics were both familiar to chess enthusiasts and accessible to newcomers. The goal was to maintain the core essence of chess while optimizing it for a competitive online environment.
Like last time Skillz took charge of the game’s outreach. They were responsible for establishing marketing and distribution channels. The collaboration underscores our shared vision of bringing quality, skill-based games to players worldwide.
